Jesus Culture's latest album Love Has A Name is released today, August 11, of their new live worship album. It features the song "Make Us One," written by lead singer Chris Quilala.
"It's not just a song, it's a prayer," shares Quilala in a recent video on YouTube describing the process of creating the song.
He also shares his hope and prayer that "we would lay down any offenses, set aside any walls, and come together. Because we know that when we do come together, something powerful happens. He quotes Colossians 3:12:
'Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.' (NLT)
Let it be so in and through us today, Lord.
