Pitt slams slams his marriage to Jennifer Aniston... again -- at least that's how some people took his latest comments in his interview with Esquire Magazine. On May 21, KpopStarz reported that Pitt blamed his marriage to Aniston for his depression and drug use over a decade ago.
"I spent the '90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself," Pitt said.
But then, Pitt slams his "Aniston marriage" saying that it was really his relationship with Jen that had him feeling "pathetic" and miserable. "I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't," he said.
A lot of people don't take his comments as him slamming Jennifer Aniston, but fans don't think that he should be talking about his failed marriage at all -- it has been 13 years since he and Aniston split and things weren't amicable since he cheated on her with his now-partner, Angelina Jolie -- whom, by the way, he praised saying that he didn't know a life "happier."
