Quoted as describing herself as Christian who "takes her faith very seriously," Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton reportedly articulated an interest in the possibility of becoming a pastor in The United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Clinton's pastor friend Rev. Dr. Bill Shillady described her spiritual leanings recently at an Atlantic photo shoot for his newly released book, “Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton.” The book is a collection of devotions that Rev. Shillady and other pastors shared with Mrs. Clinton over the course of the last presidential campaign.
A lifelong Methodist, Mrs. Clinton has openly discussed her Christian faith in interviews, explaining how she has felt the presence of God, and been guided by the Holy Spirit at many times on her journey….perhaps now to the ministry.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
