What We Believe about Suffering Matters

Philip Yancey's father passed away when he was merely one year old. Though his father was young, he contracted polio and couldn't move or breathe on his own. The people around him were praying for him and decided that it wasn't God's will for him to die. They chose to remove the iron lung machine. Sadly, he passed away a few weeks later. We need to know in advance what we think about "suffering", what we can decide on our own and what we need to trust God for.
