Young Girl With Brain Tumor Does Something Amazing for Her Family and Community

An inspiring teen doll maker whose story was told on 11 News just before Christmas has received an outpouring of love from the Baltimore community. Arriel Turner, 15, has been making amazingly detailed dolls since she was 12, right after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. She said the process keeps her mind off the tumor, which often robs her of energy, mobility and memory. At times, Arriel said she can barely keep her eyes open, but she said the problem doesn't steal her creativity.
